Silent Support Weekend – Saturday 2nd March and Sunday 3rd March

On 2-3 March, we’re taking part in the Silent Support Weekend 2024.

For players…

They’ll be doing all the talking. This is an opportunity for them to find their voice and explore their game, without any distractions.

For coaches…

When the game is in play, coaches can either join in the silent support, or coach around the match. Either way, they champion the voices on the pitch.

For spectators…

We’re asking anyone on the sidelines to show your support with applause only. When the noise stops, they become unstoppable.

Your silence speaks volumes. Let’s see the difference it makes on the pitch.

The team sheet can be downloaded here

The league can request a copy of a team sheet at anytime during the season.

The team sheet should be used to populate the full-time system as per league rules.

Club Contact Info

The club contact database is now live, however, club secretaries need to update manager and coach contact details for season 2023/2024.

Club venues have been added from application data received.

All club secretaries have been contacted with club login details enabling them to update club records. It is the responsibility of the club secretary (or delgated person) to update club records so they are accurate.  This enables other clubs to contact the correct club officials for matchdays etc.

Club details can be found here: https://tdyl.co.uk/contactdb2324

To access club details you need an account on the TDYL website: https://tdyl.co.uk/member/login

U11 to U16 Start date change for Season 23/24

Youth League (U11 to U16)

Please inform your club officials (forward to your managers/coaches) that the start for the season will now be the weekend of the 16 / 17 September.  The reasons for pushing back a week as follows:

  • The data has only just been transferred over to the full-time system (There are still some minor issues the league needs to sort with the FA).
  • The fixtures now need to be generated for all divisions in U11s to U16 allowing 7 days’ notice to clubs. The fixtures cannot not be completed by the 2 September (Tomorrow).
  • Once the fixtures are generated the league need to make sure that they are correct before going live.

Apologies that the start date has had to be pushed back. Unfortunately getting the fixtures ready for the weekend of the 9 / 10 September (U11s to U16s) has been reliant on the FA transferring the data in time and has been out of the leagues control.  This will be discussed at the league meeting this Tuesday.
